I currently love, love, love the taper shape we’ve been working with lately. I think it’s a tad reminiscent of the mad-hatter, topsy-turvy, wonky, crooked cake (or whatver else you happen to call it) design …but a bit more “grown up.” This super fun, girly cake was for a new client’s 30th birthday last weekend! We had the privilege of making these two cakes over the weekend. One for a man turning 30 and celebrating at Pete’s Dueling Pianos in Addison. Ahh….fond memories of that place!  As well as another for a very lucky two year old who loves her Barbie cars! Happy Birthday, you two!
