Mason’s Spiderman themed birthday cake …held at My Gym in Frisco- I always love the idea of having parties outside the home, and getting the kids moving- so smart! All buttercream with gumpaste Spidey face and stars.

Her cake was a simple, elegant 3 tiered buttercream cake with fondant ribbon and buttercream detail, and his was a silver detailed snare drum. I currently love, love, love the taper shape we’ve been working with lately. I think it’s a tad reminiscent of the mad-hatter, topsy-turvy, wonky, crooked cake (or whatver else you happen to call it) design …but a bit more “grown up.” This super fun, girly cake was for a new client’s 30th birthday last weekend! OK- so Spongebob and Captain Morgan are admittedly at opposite ends of the spectrum- but they were fun cakes to create! Both for birthdays this past Wednesday. Happy Birthday Mark and Daychell!

A 1920’s themed party for a lucky lady turning 21, a first birthday party for one of our staff’s little girl Avery, a Hello Kitty birthday themed cake for a 19 year old, and a special lady turning 70…all milestone birthdays that deserve a SWEET cake! Happy Birthday everyone- thanks for letting us celebrate with you!

We had the privilege of making these two cakes over the weekend. One for a man turning 30 and celebrating at Pete’s Dueling Pianos in Addison. Ahh….fond memories of that place!  As well as another for a very lucky two year old who loves her Barbie cars! Happy Birthday, you two!
