Established in 2007, Sweet Art Bakery is located in McKinney, Texas. We are a custom cake shop turned bakery and cafe! We specialize in delicious sweets for all occasions, and have recently brought our love of savory food to the public as well- expanding into serving breakfast and lunch! Sweet Art Bakery is the recipient of Wedding Wire’s 2009 , 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013′s Bride’s Choice Awards. The staff are active members of the DFW Association of Wedding Professionals. Sarah holds a membership in the the National Association of Professional Women, and Sweet Art Bakery is a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. The bakery participates in many charitable functions to support the community and the residents of Collin County as well as North Texas.

Sarah Halterman owner- lead designer
Sarah started Sweet Art Bakery in 2007, after spending many years as an elementary school teacher. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Woman’s University is far from a degree in culinary arts, but the transition to this new career was an effortless one- as she has been tapping into her creative side her whole life. An entrepreneurial spirit and desire for self expression are key factors that motivate her, and are the foundation of Sweet Art Bakery’s success. Well, that… and really yummy treats!
