Sweet Art Bakery is the recipient of Wedding Wire’s 2009 , 2010 and 2011 Bride’s Choice Awards. The staff are active members of the DFW Association of Wedding Professionals and Collin County Event Professionals. Sarah holds a membership in the the National Association of Professional Women, and Sweet Art Bakery is a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce.

Sarah Halterman owner- lead designer
Sarah started Sweet Art Bakery in 2007, after spending many years as an elementary school teacher. Holding a Bachelor of Science from Texas Woman’s University is far from a degree in culinary arts, but the transition to this new career was an effortless one- as she has been tapping into her creative side her whole life. An entrepreneurial spirit and desire for self expression are key factors that motivate her, and are the foundation of Sweet Art Bakery’s success. Well, that… and really yummy cakes!
